We are welcoming Spring to our home this week with a bit of new decor from Old Time Pottery! I decided to refresh the entry table first since it’s the first thing you see as you come in the house. This is one of my favorite spaces to change up for the seasons. As always, […]
Before I start this post I just want to say I am not an artist by any means! I kept seeing these textured art pieces all over Pinterest and thought maybe I can make one! I do not have the thousands of dollars to spend on a piece of art. Plus I don’t want to […]
With all of the rain we’ve had lately I’m expecting a super turn out of flowers this Spring! Since it’s been so gloomy lately, I decided to cheer up the indoors with some faux florals. My favorite place for seasonal décor, Old Time Pottery, has some of the prettiest Spring florals! I just love the […]
Today I’m sharing with you this easy DIY Rustic Candlestick Holder. When I saw this on Liz Marie Blog I knew it would look great in our dining room! It makes a big statement but is still simple and sleek. Plus all of these candles add a cozy glow perfect for winter. This was super […]
Oh what a great idea! I love how you are using stuff that you would have thrown out otherwise!
I love this post Jo! I am a huge fan of natural cleaning products and I make my own. Another tip is to take a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and rub it on your lamp lightbulbs. The heat of the lightbulb will spread the sent. Got that one from Kim and Aggie 😉
I love all the great tips. I also use dryer sheets to freshen my home during the winter months when the house is all shut up.
First I always open my windows for about 5 or 10 mins. depending on how cold it is outside to get rid of stale air, then I stick a fresh dryer sheet on my rads. In minutes your home smells so fresh and lasts for hours.
Or whenever you change your furnace filter you could also add 1 or 2 dryer sheets to the front of it and it spreads the scent all through your house.
