The Halloween decorations have made their way inside!

I usually stick to “fun” Halloween decor.  I’m not really into gore.  I’ve always wanted to do a Halloween tablescape that was more grown up.  Then I saw these tiny hay bales at Old Time Pottery and I had to have them!

So this took a turn for cute.  I can’t help it! 😉

I left the leaves and runner I used for our fall table and just added Halloween decor to it.  I love that you can still use neutrals and add in black and/or gold for Halloween.  It doesn’t have to be bright orange and purple.  Although, I love that too!

I already had most of this decor.  I always say, try something you already have in a different space! Mix it up.  You don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great look.

I use these black candleholders A LOT!  They are just so versatile.  I’m really loving colored candlesticks for fall.  You’ve just got to have candlelight in your Halloween decorations.

I ordered the crows and bats from amazon and I love them.  They are both festive without being LOUD.

I changed out my everyday vase on the buffet to a black and white one.  Just something simple that goes with the theme.

These black stem wine glasses work great for Halloween too!  You can also add in spookiness with food or drink, like this creepy wine label.

I thought these skeleton candleholders from Old Time Pottery were great!

I hope this gives you some ideas to decorate your space for a spooky supper!  Halloween doesn’t have to be tacky.  Grab some simple black decor, dark colored candlesticks and have some fun!
