We are welcoming Spring to our home this week with a bit of new decor from Old Time Pottery! I decided to refresh the entry table first since it’s the first thing you see as you come in the house. This is one of my favorite spaces to change up for the seasons. As always, […]
Before I start this post I just want to say I am not an artist by any means! I kept seeing these textured art pieces all over Pinterest and thought maybe I can make one! I do not have the thousands of dollars to spend on a piece of art. Plus I don’t want to […]
With all of the rain we’ve had lately I’m expecting a super turn out of flowers this Spring! Since it’s been so gloomy lately, I decided to cheer up the indoors with some faux florals. My favorite place for seasonal décor, Old Time Pottery, has some of the prettiest Spring florals! I just love the […]
Today I’m sharing with you this easy DIY Rustic Candlestick Holder. When I saw this on Liz Marie Blog I knew it would look great in our dining room! It makes a big statement but is still simple and sleek. Plus all of these candles add a cozy glow perfect for winter. This was super […]
Each spring one of my favorite things to do is to clean up our outside patio and give it a fresh look for the upcoming season! This year I had in mind to do black and white to go with our home exterior. Old Time Pottery had the exact rug I was looking for!
I love the contrast it gives to all of the grays. Big bonus is you can just squirt it off if it gets dirty.
Outdoor rugs are one of my favorite ways to make your porches and patios feel like a cozy extension of your interior. Another great way to bring in color and contrast is with outdoor pillows.
These black and white stripe ones pop. I love the neutral palm ones too. One thing about keeping your pillows neutral is you can do any color of flowers you want! I always love a lot of green with black and white.
I also went with shades of purple here. I love it with the black, white and grey. I have shamrocks, lavender, asparagus fern and pansies this year. I’ve never tried lavender on the porch so I’m really hoping it makes it!
Of course Old Time Pottery had the prettiest pots to choose from. I went with a black wicker, white and grey to keep with the color scheme. I chose different textures to give it more interest.
I like to add some candle light in the evening too and these modern black lanterns are just perfect. With battery operated candles you don’t have to worry about a flame blowing out.
Speaking of flames, the little terra cotta pots on the mantle are citronella candles! Aren’t they so cute. The grey one on the table is also citronella.
Ok I’ve saved the best for last! These cool, modern tables! I was so excited Old Time Pottery had these! I’ve seen similar ones at other retailers for much more expensive. They had several colors to choose from and I ended up with black. I’m glad I did because it really stands out.
They are very sturdy and heavy. I love the look of the concrete too.
Don’t you just love their shape?! I think I’m going to go back and grab another one!
Perfect for placing a drink or a plant.
I just love how this year’s patio turned out! Have you started thinking about your outdoor spaces yet? Warmer weather will be here before you know it!
Thanks so much for stopping by! And big thanks to Old Time Pottery for making my patio dreams come true!
As always. It looks awesome! This will definitely put you in the mood for Spring..You never disappoint…Another job well done.
