We are welcoming Spring to our home this week with a bit of new decor from Old Time Pottery! I decided to refresh the entry table first since it’s the first thing you see as you come in the house. This is one of my favorite spaces to change up for the seasons. As always, […]
Before I start this post I just want to say I am not an artist by any means! I kept seeing these textured art pieces all over Pinterest and thought maybe I can make one! I do not have the thousands of dollars to spend on a piece of art. Plus I don’t want to […]
With all of the rain we’ve had lately I’m expecting a super turn out of flowers this Spring! Since it’s been so gloomy lately, I decided to cheer up the indoors with some faux florals. My favorite place for seasonal décor, Old Time Pottery, has some of the prettiest Spring florals! I just love the […]
Today I’m sharing with you this easy DIY Rustic Candlestick Holder. When I saw this on Liz Marie Blog I knew it would look great in our dining room! It makes a big statement but is still simple and sleek. Plus all of these candles add a cozy glow perfect for winter. This was super […]
How do you feel about faux flowers? I used to not be a fan, but they have come such a long way over the years! Especially the florals at Old Time Pottery!
They are a great way to add life to a space even if you don’t have a green thumb. They are really realistic looking nowadays and less expensive than real.
My favorite has always been white flowers. I love white and green together. They feel so clean and calming to me.
I knew I wanted these beautiful, large magnolia stems. I love the statement this large arrangement makes on our dining table.
We rarely use our dining room so I knew it would be ok to put a big centerpiece on the table. If you use your table frequently, I would go with something shorter for conversation.
I knew I wanted a big vase for this centerpiece. I found this pretty one in the garden planter section. If you can’t find a traditional vase, be sure to look at planters, buckets, pitchers, etc. Get creative, anything goes!
This is a very sturdy, large planter for a great price. Old Time Pottery has so many to choose from.
This was so simple to arrange. I just placed the stems in the pot! I didn’t trim them off separately this time. These bunches filled the planter up perfectly.
I did shorten a couple of them.
Easy, statement centerpiece! I love the white and green in this room for summer.
I found some smaller stems with magnolia leaves, like this centerpiece, that I made a smaller arrangement out of for our buffet.
I wanted to carry the same colors through the room and this little planter was perfect. I also purchased this cute wood riser for some height.
I just love the peachy colors with the soft greens.
From there I carried the greens to our entry table with these seeded eucalyptus stems. They look so real!
You would never know those are faux.
Eucalyptus is great for many seasons too.
Next, I wanted to add some life to our mantle. This grayish-green garland is one of my favorites from Old Time Pottery this season. It adds soft color anywhere.
I love how it adds just enough texture and color. It also goes great with our Frame TV art.
If you haven’t lately, give faux florals another try! Be sure to go to Old Time Pottery, they have the best selection!
