I think this is my favorite project we’ve done at this house! I’ve never done wallpaper before (and probably won’t again) but it really changed up this space!

This area is more like a butlers pantry in our pantry. When we were building, I decided to make the pantry bigger by adding the garage closet to it. I am so glad I did! It gave us this coffee bar area and enough room for another refrigerator that really comes in handy. Plus we have our regular food storage area. Maybe one day I can get that part organized and show you ha!

Ive always wanted to try peel and stick wallpaper and I thought this small wall would be perfect. Wrong! Wallpapering is a nightmare, atleast for me and my husband. We tried all different ways to line it up and it just kept getting off track. We stuck and restuck for hours. There are a lot of imperfections if you look closely. But don’t , please!

Towards the end we didn’t care. I just wanted it to be done. Once we got the shelves up and the accessories, you can’t really see everything anyway.

After all that, I think we were both amazed with how good it looks!

Every time any of us go in the pantry we are like “wow”. The wallpaper added so much to a plain space.

I’m so glad I went with a black background. The shelves and crates really pop against it.

The floral pattern adds some whimsy too. I love to add fun decor to small spaces like laundry rooms, pantries and powder rooms.

Most of the accessories I already had. I did purchase a new white coffee maker and these cane crates that I’ll use for storage.

I love having everything up off my counters!

So all in all I absolutely love how this turned out. It makes me want to add wallpaper to another space. I don’t know if my husband will ever go for that again though! 😉
