In honor of the release of Hocus Pocus 2 I wanted to create a treat board for our movie night! I decided to put together a little set up on our kitchen island to go with it. I’ve had this cauldron for a couple years and I knew it would make a cute centerpiece.

Here’s how I made it!

Grab an inexpensive plastic cauldron. This one was $10 from Target. Then purchase floral foam and green moss from Walmart. I chose these green carnations as my flowers but you could do any you like. Faux would also work great.

I bought the wrong kind of foam here but you would need the kind you soak if you are using fresh flowers. I held them up to the cauldron to see what height looked good then trimmed them and started putting them in the foam.

After I had all of the flowers placed, I filled in the empty space with plastic bags.

Then I started placing the moss. I let some hang over the edges to look like a “bubbling” cauldron.

I loved the look but I thought it needed something else. So I went digging in my Halloween bins. I found these cute little witch legs from a long time ago.

So cute!

This would also make a great centerpiece for an adult Halloween party! A little spooky but still pretty!

For our treat board I purchased a few cute toys like witch fingers and fangs from Dollar General.

Then I just started adding in Halloween snacks and candy. Here’s where you can get creative and add anything you like! I love the Hocus pocus boards with the brie witch faces! I knew my girls would not eat brie so this is what I came up with.

The plates and napkins are also from Dollar General.

I made the witches brooms by sticking a pretzel stick into a mini Reese cup. For the witch hats I “glued” a Hershey kiss onto mint chocolate chip cookies with cookie icing. Super easy and the kids can help you!
